I've played with 3D glasses way back about 10 years ago. They were wired and had a poor design, but the idea isthe same. Even though 3D looks cool at first, it doesn't help gameplay. In fact, I found games more difficult to play with 3D on. Another problem is that you'll need extra sets of glasses if you want others to watch you play. Without glasses the screen is messed up. I don't know why 3d vision never caught on 10 years ago, but i'm sure the same reasons apply today. On the other hand, the advances in graphics technology may allow it to become popular... we'll see...
