This is a fanservice game so, if you're not a fan go play Shin Megami Tensei or Etrian Odyssey because this game needs prior knowledge of the characters and the stories of Persona games to enjoy it at its fullest.

Now i'm expecting a documentary called "From vampire to batman".

@Tortugostalker: Well yes. but FFXV will be forever an incomplete game since they cancelled the last bunch of DLC that give proper closure to the story.

@aojeda133: Joker too. But when snake appeared in brawl not few people interpreted it as a deal with konami to bring the next titles to the Wii and other were more audacious to claim they will be exclusives, and since that the only game that received was that 3ds port of snake eater.

@IanNottinghamX: That happened before with snake, but people tend to have the memory of a goldfish.

@clefdefa: If it was a sequel like the answer in persona 3 fes i would give you the reason, but by the trailer it is a bigger update than p4g in comparison to p4, the dlc would be really hard to do, because it changes events, locations, dungeons and even cutscenes of the base game while adding tons of new content, and the amount they would charge would be a lot, like no less than 30 dollars, yes it would be preferable if they added the option to upgrade it via dlc but releasing it as a separate product is in various ways more convinient.

@brokenxwing: This will be the definitive version, If you like Persona 4 Golden I recommend you to wait, if you can't wait then purchase the original, if you like it enough buy this one when it is cheaper.
