Make it "The Ten Best Zelda Games: All Vote." Just explain that we are jointly selecting what ten games should be listed as the ones associated with this Union, since we're limited to ten. So its not necessarily the ten best overall, but its the ten that will get us the most exposure if and when we are listed on those games' gamespace pages. That is also why I wanted to try and hit each console/handheld if possible.
What would you suggest I replace, Burning? I'm open to all suggestions here. Those were just the best ten that came to my mind. I'm more than willing to revisit that list entirely.
In fact, if you want to run with this, you can post a thread listing all of the Zelda games and we can have a vote. I'll sticky the thread and we'll run the poll for a few days, then we'll change the front page to match the selected ten games. Sound cool?
There's nothing we can do about it. If someone wanted to create another Union exactly like this one, they are within their rights do so. It sucks, but we couldn't stop them. Of course, I would nicely try and persuade them to just join us instead, so as to keep everyone together in one place. As of now there isn't a second Zelda Union, though. So, we're good to go.
Well, the person in question wasn't even aware we existed. All the more reason why we need to be in Top Ten! :)
Hopefully, he will be joining us soon, and lots of others too. I read through the FAQ and there is nothing saying that you can't make Unions about the same thing. I agree that this is going to eventually be a problem and become a battle of who has more users. It's sad, but probably true. We've gotten pretty darn big, pretty darn fast, though. So we may have nipped that in the bud. Let's hope.
Has anyone else taken to naming the character in your Zelda games something other than Link? I did it by accident in The Wind Waker, and then when I turned on my used copy of The Minish Cap there was already a saved game with then name Link. So before deleting it I created my own with the same name I used from TWW. Oddly enough, none of the names I thought were cool worked and I randomly ended up with the name "Bingo."
So instead of Link, my hero is the amazing Bingo. :)
