Very disappointed to see this review and score because it will impact the game's health by likely driving casually interested players away. I'd like to refute your negative points.

Quests quickly become repetitive and boring: Absolutely untrue. Not a single one of the dozens of people that I play with have complained about "boring" quests. This game has some very inventive and fun quests. Is there some repetition? Absolutely. When you're leveling to 45 or over 100 as in WoW, you're going to get some repetition. That is a part of the MMO genre that can't be helped so grading it down because of that bugs me. The quests are fun and the battle keeps things fluid. They are usually fairly quick too, as is the whole leveling process.

Lacks content from the Asian version: Completely unfair to grade it down because of this. It's a fair criticism of the port but grading a game for not having something is ridiculous. Grade it on what's there. Besides, the same content that has taken years to release in Korea is starting to roll out next week - not even a month after the initial release of the game. NCSoft is doing a great job of initiating new content right as most people are hitting level cap.

Short, boring dungeon sequences: WRONG! With the exception of the annoying Darkglimpse dungeon, the dungeons are not boring. They are quick sessions, yes, but that is the point! Instead of long, drawn out dungeons all the way through the game that slow down the leveling process Blade & Soul has fast-paced shorter dungeons so that at least when you're grinding for that weapon breakthrough item you can get it in a reasonable amount of time and keep moving on. I guess you're calling them boring because they aren't end-game like WoW dungeons, but this game has amazing end-game content like that too. Just because it isn't WoW doesn't make it bad.

Bare bones "crafting": Fair criticism and a matter of preference. I like that they tried something new here. It's a bit TOO simple, though, with not enough impact until the end-game. I love the simplified aspect of not making crafting a huge requirement like other MMOs.

This game is about epic story, visuals, and combat. And that's OKAY. It should be graded based on the experience it is trying to provide and not on how closely it looks like your favorite long-running MMO. It's new, it's fun, and everyone that I've played with can't wait to get back in game and play some more. Giving it a 6 overall is ridiculous.
