Guess I won't get to do any whaling. Does PETA know that they do more to make themselves appear crazy then respectable.
They had an opportunity to work with the developers to make the whales you hunt seem real, and the business seem cruel, messy, and barbaric like it really is. It would do more to dissuade whaling industry and gain awareness then getting crybaby about it. Honestly I play games like Skyrim and RDR and I find myself not killing animals because even though they aren't real I feel bad when I launch a fireball at a fox.
@BigBossWato @Zzombielemur I understand they have their reasons, but that doesn't make it any less shady. Besides they do it even when there isn't a new console to promote.
Getting real fed up with all this exclusive content. Even if it's available to me on my console I still feel dirty about it. Don't developers take any pride in their work anymore, and tell Sony/Xbox to take a walk when asked to cripple their game for money. I want to say that it's probably a decision made above the actual designers pay grade. Made by number crunchers with an eye on the bottom line, but still doesn't it feel shady to anyone else.
Also a launch title also available on last gen consoles....they want to tell me it's gonna be better on PS4....like anyone is gonna fall for that.
I think these days developers need to let a series breathe more. They come back with a new title 1-2 a year and it's too much. Have a few more IPs and cycle them through.
That would be if they were at all interested in making a quality product more than making money.
You know I always felt that Ratonhnhaké:ton got a bad rap. I found him to be the most enjoyable assassin to play thus far. His personal convictions and outside view of the revolution really made the game.
That said the naval missions were quite awesome and with some tweaking I could see it being a solid game.
