It's just for advertising purposes, not sure what the big deal is. Aside from that, the only perk is that Xbox gamers get to play the game 3 days early via EA Access and if I'm not mistaken the DLC hits a week or two early.
@DemonicChaosXX: Nintendo insults itself. Hardly any third party support, really terrible online account handling, stale first party lineup, too many gimmicks. I used to buy everything they put out, but I've grown in my gaming tastes, it's time Nintendo did too.
@so_hai: I'm fine with taking risks. It's the lack of title diversity that kills any purchase for me. Nintendo hasn't produced an exclusive that piqued my interest since Baten Kaitos. And the last time I checked, Nintendo doesn't have Battlefield, GTA, Elite Dangerous, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, or really any game that comes close to those. You can keep your gimmicky control schemes, I buy my systems to play games.
I bet at E3 they'll announce a shitload of BC games, or announce that the whole 360 library is now BC.
That being said I love the BC given that I was an early adopter of the digital library and have a good chunk of the games on their BC list. And before anyone cries "fanboy," I own both the PS4 and the X1 and I use them both equally. I use my PS4 for online gaming with friends and the X1 for BC and single player experiences. If you're a fanboy of either one specifically you're a douche.
