Greetings everyone, I have a favor to ask of any RPG fans here. My girlfriend has been seeking a new RPG for her PS2 now for a bit, and while I have a fairly extensive collection of RPGs apparently none suit her ever so specific tastes.

She wants an RPG, she loves KOTOR, Fable, and Final Fantasy. She hates tactical RPGs in the vein of Disgaea or FF Tactics. She would prefer one with a love story for sure, but if there is a really good RPG without one I'll still bring it up, so just specify if it has one or not please.

I'm just not sure what to suggest as it's been a fair while since the PS2 was any focus of mine having moved onto the PS3 and 360 some time ago.

So, any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you muchly.

Reviews are the opinion of the reviewer, they do not man that you will agree, but people with simmilar tastes as him it will.

What GameSpot could do, but because of the effort involved, at the end have several mini reviews from other editors on the site with ratings, this way you can look at your favorite ed who you sync up with best and take his score into account.

It's kind of funny, the things you want in one game were done already, first actually, Ultima Online. Well side the City of Heroes level character customization. Aside that, the big world, the creating a character exactly how you wanted down to each stat and skill, coloring your clothes and armor how you like, and the PvP. That! Was PvP.

Not as good these days but it does have somethings nothing else does, such as fully customizable, placeable, and decoratable housing. You want a door there? Go for it. A balcony? Hey go nuts. You want the ugliest thing to ever grace Britannia? Tally Ho! Build that monstrosity!

Although a decade does give you time to add a lot of stuff.

Varies greatly, but usually either hard or whatever is hardest. I realized with CoD2 that I enjoyed every screaming second of that hellish nightmare more than I had an FPS in a while. Now if a game does hard badly, then i'll just do normal, there are games that's difficulty makes no sense and isn't balanced, it's hard just to put the option there, the game isn't tuned to function well on hard making it unfun.

Then there are some games which on max difficulty are just beyond me... like Guitar Hero... sigh... I can't move past medium through any of the three sequels, just occassional jaunts into hard, then getting my ass beat everytime by expert.

Wouldn't that be so awesome and clever if you were able to replace the current xbox 360 graphics card with a new one. Like microsoft makes a list of better, compatible graphics cards that you could buy. The Xbox 360 would last for so much longer, with its own legacy over PS3.uLoSe24

Wow, good work on the crummiest idea ever. You know what you just described? A computer, and guess what? You're using one! Omg you already have an upgradable Xbox!!!

Now in all seriousness, it's a terrible idea for it is contrary the vey design philosophy of a console, to have a standard set of features and capabilities to work within while creating your game. Which makes it easier, cheaper, faster, and much much simpler to test and bug squash in. You only need to worry about one set of hardware in one combination, maybe two these days. Not the near infinite possibilities of a computer, which is what you'd cause... It'd be the downfall of consoles.

Man, if somehow everything I had broke, not only would it have to be tiny terrorists, but I'd go insane. I need at least one technology.

I'd sit in my car rocking back and forth sucking on my ipod as it plays one is the lonliest number.

I just got my 360 back a month ago from the red ring of death, and now the disk tray is all messed up. It started grinding all of a sudden and now nothing plays.

*cries*

I just had to share, i'm going ot go eat a whole ham now.
