I think in the media, and in life in general, we should understand that we can't, and never will, be able to please everyone. Developers need to make a game wired in a certain genre, and stick with it. If they try to extract a variety of genres, the game will turn out sloppy, or just not fun. In this case, action fans will like the action, but everything else will be boring. Horror fans will enjoy the scares, but the action will get on their nerves. Just as in life, we all have different personalities not everyone will appreciate, but we just have to realize not everyone will get along and like us, just be glad for those who do. This is how I see it.

I think I'm gonna give up on assassins creed. I got the third one and started it, but it is just so boring. I feel like I need to play it, but I shouldn't force myself if it feels like a chore. It's too bad, because I loved AC2, but I think I need to realize it has become a milked franchise. To me, a series should be a trilogy at the most, unless it makes new stories like final fantasy and zelda. Sure there are new assassins, but it is still in the same universe and underlining concept of finding ancient treasures and living the past of ancestors.
