if this game was single player, its likely the modders would have fixed it somewhat and added a lot more useful things to do with it and it'd probably be a lot more fun.
Imagine Skyrim with no mods at all, it's not too pretty and long forgotten if that was the case. I guess Skyrim at least had some storyline to it though, Fallout 76 seems like a pretty dead place to be in compared to Fallout 3 or 4
@good_coop89: I couldn't agree more. Every game attempt after Jagged Alliance 2 has been mostly terrible. Even JA Back In Action which had a decent combat system (lacking any kind of physics system though) but did miss pretty much everything that made the first two games great. The idiotic way they tried to put in the JA2 story and Merc personalities into Back In Action was a awful, they missed the entire personality of the original JA2 game.
The only way for an actual proper sequel is for an experience developer with lots of money to do it right. So far just half assed attempts have been put into the game series.
Really.. the only way to do it right would be the original creators at Sir-Tech to overseer a new development team to do it right. There is a reason every game after JA 2 was bad, Sir-Tech wasn't involved... they were basically the Larian studios of the 80's-90s when it came to their well thought out turn based combat games.
it's too bad you can't create your own characters. It was the main fun I had in Xcom 2 was creating characters and sending them to their crusty deaths.
@civilenginerd: You can run a PC on a 70 inch tv if you wanted to, I actually did it a bit in the past to slum it at 60fps ... But I have no idea why anyone would still want to play a game on a standard 16:9 tv no matter how big it is... lacks too much technology that PC monitors have.
Ultrawide is the future and these consoles won't support that as far as I can tell.
Its gonna be funny when this same CEO lays off a bunch of these people when this is all over. Its not if a CEO will stab its employees in the back, its when will they do it.
Took 3 generations for consoles to become more powerful than a PC i put together ages ago. Not too impressive.
Seems pretty pointless these days to get a console, for a bit more you can just get a PC that destroys it and then you are set for another 2+ generations.
I can't believe they only give you a 1tb ssd also, that is a total joke of hardware for 2020, how many AAA games can you even install on that? Like 5-6?
