not sure why people would pay for youtube. adblock blocks all the ads that the sub would block. And their sub wouldn't be able to stop the ads they embed on peoples videos, and this is where the problem with ads really are since you can't block those. Practically all the linus tech videos have god awful ads at the beginning and the end of each of their videos. I never seen such a sell out.

@TeknoBug: i used it for 2 months on my laptop, and only a few days on a desktop pc because it was crashing and locking up repeatedly. Also installed it on a tablet and it ran slower than windows 8. so i've used it enough to know its slower than windows 8, and even slower than windows 7 and much more unstable. I've reverted back to my original versions because windows 10 is unusable and unrealible to use as an OS. I'm not afraid to state my opinion on how bad it is.

^ this.

Even if you turn all that shit off, your running an unstable OS that is slow and buggy compared to windows 7

way too expensive. You may as well just build your own pc the way you like it. I wonder though if you can install the Steam OS on any pc? It would be a good alternative to not having to use god awful windows 10 for directx12 games.

i been playing this expansion a bit. It improves the original game but not enough to for this rating of a 9. all the minor fixes make this game a 7/10 now. I'd rate the original 5/10. I really like how they made trade routes auto renew now, it was hell having to manually select new routes before after you had like 30+ cities it became a real chore. The diplomatic capital or whatever they call it, thats also a nice added thing to give you something to spend on your leader to improve things you are lacking. It also seems a bit easier to keep your people happy and also a bit easier to keep your money in the positive if you help it out with the right policies.... which was harder to do at the start of the game in the original. Units seem super weak still though, I have no idea why a sub can only move 2 tiles, while a sub in civ5 could move several. I thought the units in this game were supposed to be futuristic.

I've only played it so far for 10 hrs, so my opinion may become more positive or negative later on so who knows. But if you actually liked the original you will like the added improvements. The leaders still seem pretty boring to me and the game just lacks something that hooked me in civ 5.

i used geforce experience once. Had problems with it and havnt used it since. That was a couple years ago. Whenever i do a update i uncheck nvidia experience because its just a peice of shit. Im not liking this. To change my settings in specific games i just use nvidia inspector. The bloated garbage that is geforce experience is not needed. Next gpu may be a amd one, im getting sick of nvidias garbage

@elessarGObonzo: im not actually protesting upgrading. I just wish it was a stable and fast OS. But its not. I've tried to upgrade a desktop pc, a laptop, a tablet and an intel atom mini pc. I had a combination of lockups, slow performance and a lot of driver problems on all the devices. The worst was on my desktop pc, it was getting crashes and rebooting everytime i was running my security monitoring software... which ran perfectly on windows 7 somewhat on windows 8. Many of my games ran terribly on it also.

This OS is not in good shape. I reminds me of the problems i had with windows 95. Windows Vista was much more stable than windows 10. So far i've defaulted all back to windows 7 on my main pcs and laptop, and windows 8 on my tablets because that was their default OS and can't put windows 7 on them.

Im sure some people have had some flawless performance and stability, but i've wasted hundreds of hours with it and been nothing but frustrated. Microsoft should never have released windows 8 and windows 10 is even more a failure than windows 8. They can force people all they want to use it and i know eventually i'll have to install and setup a dual boot for it to at least play dx12 games and hopefully by then they have fix all the problems i had with it.
