Well maybe it does, but so far there are no exact specifications known or any official announcement on this matter from Nintendo themselves (or have I missed something?). There is no way that DSi will have a ~500 Mhz processor...
please tell me you're joking... You take this information seriously, because you read that on SOME GUYS' BLOG about which nobody has ever heard before? Dear lord...
it also has a different processor, it has the 67Mhz CPU normally used to render 3D graphics on the DS lite, but has a new ARM11 CPU which bunniesblog has said has to be more powerful than the 67mhz CPU ARM9, and was manufacture in 2007, and could be anywhere between 266mhz-533mhz, as he said in his blog, the DSi also has 256mb flash memory built in, better speakers
the question is then, why would Nintendo put a faster CPU, more RAM, and a SDHC card slot in? surely they will just make a few cool DSi downloadable games, nothing major right? its a redesign not a new console?darth-pyschosis
Where on earth have you heard THAT? If it had this kind of processor it would be almost twice as powerful as PSP (and I bet my manhood that it isn't). I only bought my DS Lite a few weeks ago, but if this "information" (I call it a rumour) is true I might consider getting it... somewhere in 2013...
