@Bolan5857 @XAF1 @mnkpro1 I think you miss the point. When you pay $500 for a console you should be able to play it sitting on the toilet or any place else you want to play it in privacy and no one has right to tell you how, when or where you can play it unless they buy it for you. Then it's their money they have to worry about not yours. :-)

@mnkpro1 Of course your phone does because it's built for online consumption of info. Smartphones are based on that concept, talking on the phone is a second thought these day. Consoles are built mainly for gaming and consumers shouldn't be told that you have no choice but to be connect to the internet if you don't play multi-player online games. Your phone isn't useless if you don't have wifi/internet connection but the Xbox ONE is. Not every where one travels has internet connections. Being told that you have to connect or else is a major turn off and will bite MS in the rear.

All I can think of when I hear the word "Microsoft" right now is DUMB! Really, come on has Microsoft taken a Stupid pill at this point. Everything it's doing seems like an anti-consumer move. It's time to straighten up or maybe clean house of the idiots coming up with some of these stupid moves. I have a feeling its shares are going to drop majorly after this week if they haven't already after Sony's announcement yesterday.

@Grenadeh @XAF1 The problem is that today there are too many fighters like this one back when KI came out and I played in tournaments in college it was a one of a kind game. Most people were blown away by the graphics more than the stiff play mechanics. Killer Instinct was something new back then or at least it appeared to be. Also the developers for the game were different Rare knew graphics but it didn't know fighting so it had help.

Killer Instinct actually looks like any other generic fighter at this point. MS should have spent the time to re-establish the game with the Xbox 360 so that it could have had some distinction from all the other generic fighters out there. I have a feeling the game will be very much overlooked on the Xbox ONE.

@rision82 @david1230 They weren't very convincing in that case.

I totally agree with this article on all sides. As I watched MS's presentation all I could say was"What in the world was it thinking?" MS seems very disorganized about the whole Xbox ONE situation and there is a situation. It's losing the confidence of 360 owners who would be likely to buy the Xbox ONE and its losing that confidence very quickly. All I could think of was that the software shown was originally being developed for the 360 and MS told developers to plop it onto the Xbox ONE because they have to get something out. All of this seems rushed and that usually means disaster with a capital "D" for MS---no coming back from this screw up possibly.

Didn't really see anything that couldn't be done this current gen that is being done the next gen that makes it worth buying the new Xbox ONE console. Everything from MS was basically talk about what being able to use the cloud would allow them---not really interested. They could use the cloud now. A bump in resolution, frame rate, and AI through the use of cloud computing really isn't all that tempting enough to make me want to make the next gen leap with MS for $500.00. They still didn't clear up any of the questions still buzzing around about the console and having to be connected, used games, DRM, etc. Hating to complain about free stuff but what they are offering Gold members as free game DLs are a joke too. Most of us already own those games, It's only worth it to newbies. I have a really bad feeling about MS this go around. It may be majorly screwing up. I'm even more indecisive about buying another system from them at this point and I'm never that way about consoles.

I would say that if there is anyone on the fence about buying the Xbox One like I am save your money for something else. MS isn't really radiating enough positive energy for me to have enough confidence to invest in its next gen console this go around. It will be the 1st Xbox that I've walked away from but I'm sure it won't be the last MS product that I walk away from at this point. It's not hard to just tell consumers the truth straight forward. I'd respect it more as a company if it did that instead of going around the world about everything. Also if MS screws up with the Xbox One what makes it think that the Xbox 360 will have any kind of a future period, why would consumers want to continue to throw money at MS and build a game Library on XBLA if they can't take it with them onto the Xbox One.
