Great show as always. But some of the voice overs... were kinda crappy. Other then that. Already looking forward to the next show. Keep up the great work of hunting down some of gamespots worst and finest comments guys! And users keep making terrible and valid debate posts!
@gf61 @---Cipher--- back in the day yes. But nowadays with the changing business practice. Nope. You don't own the game you own the right to play it till they decide to pull the plug due to lack of interest from the community or to save money. Same issue for everyone including myself that use Steam. We don't technically own the rights to the game. If steam goes under. We get nothing out of it.
Oh hey its this report again! It hasn't even been a full year since the last game release from EA with having issues. And once again they are saying the exact same thing. Oh boy EA who are you trying to fool? because I know a bunch of us already know this game you play with all your game launches.
*checks calender for next major EA release and waits for this story to repeat itself once again*
I know they lost 3 sales with one decision they made. No it wasn't gameplay related. It is a little thing called. Use Origin as the only means to play our game on the PC(unless you pirate it). Once they make it open for sale on steam. They might get 3 sales back from me and my friends.
And no I won't buy the console versions since I prefer to play on my multi-platform titles on the PC.
Great job on showing support for the PC market Epic Games! And being able to shrug off those gosh darn pirates that steal your games and don't let you see a single cent from it.
Oh wait..... we are talking about consoles...... what a backwards world we live in :/
Personally I still think the best UI on consoles and handhelds is the PS3 and PSP. Was simple and extremely fast to get to what you want even if it contained a lot of options. It was pretty straightforward. I just hope the PS4 doesn't take the 360 approach where it wastes your time with sounds and animations as it loads the next page or option of the UI.
At least they took one step in the right direction with no more "always online DRM".
But it will take more then that to convince me otherwise to invest into their service. Maybe competitive pricing compared to steam is a good start? Since I know selling "digital goods" is way cheaper then selling something at a actual store. So why should we still be forced to pay $60 for a digital game purchase?
@Evilpill Remember how M$ told sony to go first with revealing their stuff. So they could make a "bigger splash" on the gaming community. Guess what sony went first and now M$ is planning on how to top it in their next press conference. Possibly this years E3. We need to wait now and ask if microsoft is going to land on their face again like they have been doing with almost all the press conferences they hold.
