Yeah, and the I7 is still 20% faster than this chip BUT, the boards, chipsets and ram settings aren't optimized for the AMD yet and no overclocking was done. But for me the clincher is the I7 costs about $730 bucks more for that 20% bump (price differential taken from NewEgg today). To me it's a good step back from the brink and I'll be buying AMD for my next total rebuild. Da Worfster
