Daniels over Clark? Cmon now. Homer move right there. Also F*** you for using the "Im a F****** soldier!" line.

Espurs117

Other than 2007, Clark's best season was 37 catches. Daniels had 34 his rookie year and 63 last season.

And you can't talk about Winslow without mentioning his f'ing soldier status. It's like trying to talk about Herm Edwards without playing to win the game.

Harrison, Addai, Wayne take stats away from Clark. Who does Houston have? Johnson for 8 games a year? Stats should be taken lightly when it comes to Clark with the team he has. Clark is still a better player than Daniels.

Yeah, clark is basically a #3 reciever in indy, while Daniels was a #1 reciever for hou, so despite the catch totals clark is a much better TE. Besides that move shockey back, and winslow up(maybe 2a or 2b with witten).

Hester had 8 TDs last year, thats more than the 2 guys competing for QB combined or tied for all of the running backs put together! He is well worth the money even if he is a #2 or even #3 WR, he can change a game every time he touches the ball.

G-men,

why you ask? saint never really adress the Defense issue they had

you can put up 25...but can you prevent the other team from doing the same

however if deuce is back to full power..saint win

geaux321

Never addressed the defense issue? They got a new #2 CB, Gay a new MLB Vilma, and a new DT, Ellis. That seems like they addressed it to me.

Thats exactly what I was gonna say, this saints team is much better(especially the D) than the playoff team of '06.

The Saints come marching in and in a battle through the air(and some big plays on the ground) they dominate the weak Giants secondary and Eli and the run game can't catch up enough. The Saints convert the unbelieving Giants, both win but the Saints by a little more.

Some fast LB's and DE's would probably be good against that, and like 7DBs! Maybe the bears should try something like this with Hester and TBA.

Finally a good match up!!! Defense wins championships, but I don't expect either of these teams to be in one anytime soon so the Lions will win easy. Kitna throws it to his recievers and the 9ers can't do nothing, then Kevin Smith runs all over them(cept Willis of course, he avoids him). Alex Smith throws 4 picks fumbles twice and completes 5 passes!! The Lions, despite being declawed and having missing teeth; end up eating the 49ers, who only have one pickaxe.

If Jones works hard he can be the #1 guy there.

[QUOTE="WhiteSamurai209"][QUOTE="DLateral"][QUOTE="wallymartin"][QUOTE="DLateral"][QUOTE="wallymartin"]

[QUOTE="DLateral"]No way is Kampman #1 Jared Allen is the best defensive end in the League, Allen has more tackles, sacks and forced fumbles then Kampman. Kampman shouldnt even be in the top 5 and where is Jason Taylor on this list?DLateral

Taylor is on teh 3-4 OLB list, since that is likely what he'll be playing.

I went with Kampman for 2 reasons, both of which I believe I mentioned:
1) He has better help. Between Cullen Jenkins and KGB, not to mention Al Harris and Charles Woodson making QBs hold onto the ball, the Green Bay pass rush will be formidable. Whereas Jared Allen has no help on the other side (none, whatsoever), meaning offenses can flood his side with extra blockers. And I'm not sure the Vikes secondary can give him more time. Sure they'll improve this year, but I don't have great confidence in them.

2) Not since Reggie White in the 80's has someone lead the league in sacks for 2 years in a row.

Both Minnesotas DT's started in the Pro Bowl last year so I guess their not that terrible and guy on other side got 5 sacks last year while missing last 4 games so he can hold his own on the other side and Darren Sharper also started in the Pro Bowl at SS so I dont think Vikes defense is 2 bad:) (even though are corners arent Harris and Woodson their still semi-decent)

The Williams are great run-stoppers, but they, along with Edwards, won't generate enough pass rush to pull blockers away from Allen. Also, keep in mind that he is on a new team. He's got new plays to learn, and small intricacies that may not click for a while.

Jared Allen probably IS the best Defensive End in the league, but he's got more obstacles in his way than Kampman does.

Yeah I'll agree with that Vikes are great run stoppers not so good at pressuring the QB...

Are you saying Jared Allen can't get to the QB? And they were 8th in sacks last year.

Did I ever say once that Allen couldnt get to the QB? No I actually havent said anything that could be intrepreted as that so dont make accusations if you have nothing to back them up.. And they were last in pass defense so I guess their not doing something right.

Well you said that they weren't pressuring the QB, they were, they just can't cover a reciever!! Who plays CB for them, no one thats who, maybe thats why they suck at pass defense!
