Based on their supposed 2008 rosters (links), you breakdown the game:
How can Team A win, what does Team B need to do, what would actually happen, etc.

Losing Strahan will take some of that power away from the Giant's d-line, and with an average secondary I don't think there will be much of an overall pass defense. It also depends if Eli goes back to his old self or stays at his superbowl playing level. I have a little more confidence in choosing the Saints in a close one.

The Saints come marching in and in a battle through the air(and some big plays on the ground) they dominate the weak Giants secondary and Eli and the run game can't catch up enough. The Saints convert the unbelieving Giants, both win but the Saints by a little more.

G-men,

why you ask? saint never really adress the Defense issue they had

you can put up 25...but can you prevent the other team from doing the same

however if deuce is back to full power..saint win

Never addressed the defense issue? They got a new #2 CB, Gay a new MLB Vilma, and a new DT, Ellis. That seems like they addressed it to me.

This is a game I want to watch. I think both teams would put up a good fight, both offensively and defensively.

I think I'll go with the Saints, because I am biased against the Giants.

Thats exactly what I was gonna say, this saints team is much better(especially the D) than the playoff team of '06.

I'd have to say the Saints.

Brees and that running game would be responsible for the win.
