Well, time to go.

I think part of it is that people feel threatened. As if their taste and enjoyment of games is being called bad. Which is silly (of course).

You can enjoy something and being critical of it. You can ask for more. You can expect more. And there is no reason why we shouldn't.

What is it with the video game industry and awful subtitles?

Do we still have to talk about each of these studios like they're best-in-class? The past couple years have shown that that's clearly not the case. I'd say CD Projekt Red, at this point, seems to care the most about building truly great RPGs.

Was the writing always this bad and I just didn't notice it before or did it get way worse?

Maybe every game is a masterpiece that just gets held back.

Guys, Superman 64 was a masterpiece.
