Beyond: Two Souls and The Last of Us, are still running on DX9, they use SSAO technique to make it look prettier. But in the end, it lacks any real DX11 features. Crysis 3 is DX11 exclusive, Crytek is going to shoehorn some of those features into the consoles, which is a technical miracle if they can pull it of, since those consoles are not engineered for DX11. I expect stuttering and low framerate on the consoles as a result. So, if anyone is looking for the best Crysis 3 experience, I advise to play it on a PC.
I think this would qualify as better than the original, seeing as it supports better resolutions, the new rules and systems introduced in BG2, and much more.
It sounds like BG1 on mods, but more stable.
Also, WTF is up with Gamespot degrading a game merely because it's too difficult, this is something praiseworthy not the opposite.
