I recently bought a PS3... like 3 weeks ago. Got a few ?'s.

Every game I stick in the drive says there's a new version that needs to be downloaded first. Is this normal? I've been an Xbox Live member for 8 years so I joined PS+ rite from the beginning. Every game/demo I download from PSN has to download (obviously, then it has to be installed for another 10 mins. or so depending how big the file is. With XBL when I download something it's ready to be played rite then. Does everything have to be installed? Is there a place to see how much hard drive space is free/used? Last thing... Is there an option to stream anything, like PSN related videos or game previews, instead of just straight-up downloading them? When XBL was new, everything you wanted to see had to be downloaded. Now most is streamed, which is much quicker. I'm not trying to say one is better than the other but coming from the 360 for so long, and how consoles have been over the years... it seems like the PS3 drags things out (if I got it set correctly anyways).

One thing I will say about the online infrastructure between XBL and PSN... XBL's setup, look, and ease of use and finding things is waaay better. That being said... I like how being a PS+ member gives you big discounts, free games every month, and a whole bunch of extra incentive that XBL doesn't offer. Thanx for any help you guys can give :)

id wait until you don't need glasses to watch the tv before buying a 3d tv.blaqphantom

AMEN!!! Toshiba was supposed to release a glasses-free 3D television last year but I guess it got delayed. If you have to get a tv now I'd go with a Samsung LED. They have the best picture by far. I work for the cable company so I see HDTV's all day, everyday.

You're not actually getting your console back. You're getting a refurbished console. One that has already been repaired. It speeds up the process of you getting a console back rather than actually waiting the weeks or months to get your exact console repaired. This is why people have to go through the license transfer process when they get a console back from shipping. So your console will get repaired and get shipped out to someone else one day.DJ_Magneto
I know I'm not getting mine back and the licenses are already transferred to my new console. But I would think that they would send a repaired one from Dallas, where the center is. I know that some of the systems were manufactured in Mexico, but I was under the impression that they shipped from Dallas. The last time I sent a system in it came back from Dallas also. It's an Elite system btw.

My console broke so I sent it to Microsoft to get fixed for free. I live in NY and sent the Xbox with a prepaid shipping label to Dallas to be repaired. I just checked the tracking on UPS.com for the console being shipped back to me because I got an email saying it was ready and being returned. In the tracking it said that the console was shipped from Mexico. Has anyone ever heard of this? I know Dallas, TX is where the repair center is... so why would they ship me a system all the way from Mexico? This system is getting sold on Ebay as soon as I get it because I bought the new 360 slim while the busted one was gone, but I was just curious if anyone knew any possible reason for this or had any experiences themselves.

I think Bayonetta is lame japanese crap and not a very fun game at all.

I agree also... I loved Ninja Gaiden but hated DMC with a passion. And this IS Devil May Cry with boobs.

I think they need to add ALOT more medium tracks. I get mostly golds from beginner thru medium but hard just pisses me off. It's not even fun to me to try to get past those tracks. I bought the "Big Pack" or whatever it's called, just tio get some more medium tracks. But the dev. assumes that everyone is capable of doing the hard and extreme tracks, which is almost 50% of the game!!!

I don't think it's the scratch at all!!! The scratch would make the game freeze or crash at that spot because it can't read the disk. But you're having an in-game glitch happen. That doesn't happen from a scratched disk my friend. Try clearing the cache on the Xbox, then try to play the game again. You probably caused the Darksiders file to become corrupted somehow. If the cache thing doesn't work... erase your entire Darksiders file from the hdd and start again, being you're at the very beginning of the game anyways.

I thought I actually explained it pretty well in the first post. It doesn't have to be a console you don't own, if you own all 3, but the one you like the least. And when I say console, I mean the 360, PS3 or Wii. Most people don't own all 3 and even if they do, they have a least favorite.

An example would be... if you dislike the 360 the most of the 3 next-gen consoles, what would be a 360 gamethat you'd really like to play?

The system I'm going to say I like the least is the PS3 because I think it's an enormous waste of money right now with very few games that are worth my time. The game I really would like to play on it though would have to be Drakes Fortune. I think that game looks sick, plus it seems like a next-gen Tomb Raider on steroids.

Just so everyone's clear... this thread is all about listing the game you want to play most on the console you hate most, and why 8). With the holidays coming up I'm sure there's games coming out on every system that most people would like to play even if it's not their console of choice.
