The Half-Life series is never dead.... and will never be. They'll make a major announcement when you least expect it. Like they always do.

Call of Duty attracts the worst type of people, in every way... because 1. The game is easy, and is made to attract MANY types of gamers... from casual to the not so casual. 2. the game is easy 3. the game is easy Why dont you find the same people playing CS 1.6 or Source? Cause the game takes time and skill to be efficient at it. 10 year olds hate working towards goals.

You know your problem, finding a way to deal with it is up to you. Physical activities are always good. Sticking with it is even better. Supplementing the time that you game, to going to the gym, working overttime, etc etc. Could help in the longrun as well.

With a $200 budget, youll want to go with ISP. If you're running a cable box that doesnt have HDMI out, your choices are very limited.

Its all about personal preference really, and what sounds best to you. I use to use the Plantronics DSP500's for many years (went through 1 of them every year). I personally emphasize on really heavy bass. I currently use Razer Megaladon 7.1 Headphones... but only for gaiming really. As well as music obviously. What i like to do (even though some people think its quite shady), is go to a CompUSA or a Best Buy, buy the set you're interested in.... test it, and return them to try out a different set. Once you find the sets that fit your needs/preferences... buy that one. Most stores have a 14 day return policy, on most electronics. Edit: Noticed you're not residing in the US.... but i thought i would still leave the comment up.

Guild Wars 2, instanced, theme-park, with some innovations and realm based PvP. Should release before summer.

Tera, combines instances and some open world stuff, free for all PvP, action-based combat system, but there's alot of drama on the censorhsip from the Korean version and what the PvP will finally be like. Should go into open beta soon.

Archeage, non-instanced, sandbox, free for all PvP but with consequences on the main continents, player-made factions and cities on the northern contintent, tons of freedom and innovation, should be seeing it in the west sometime in 2013.

Thanks for the headsup on Archeage... hadnt heard about it. Been looking forward to GW2 for quite some time now..... personally. Loved GW1.

It's a scam as far as I'm concerned. They lure you in with the idea of "free", but it's actually more expensive and they reap more benefit from doing such.SystemsGO
Pretty much.... Check the business model EQ2 uses for F2P. To give you an idea.... You cant wear Legendary, Fabled, or Mythical items, unless you pay. YET they advertise that you can get to max level (90)... which is nearly impossible unless you are able to wear the legendary and above gear. Much like you said, its def a scam, in a sense.

The "Sacred" games are the only ones i can think of. Sacred 2 was great, imo.
