@forcesofhabit Anyone who expected a "wow" display are completely out of their tree. Every publisher, for the entire history of video games has always saved their A game for holiday season. You will be lucky to see ANYTHING about the coming big titles before July or August. And don't hold your breath on Zelda Wii U. The fact that the Windwaker HD product wasn't even mentione dhere strongly suggests a holiday release. Nintendo is not going to release two Zelda games at the same time. Zelda Wii U wont see the light of day until holiday season 2014.
@Vinland_Fighter @diabolik_023 I like Mario and Zelda, but they're no longer system sellers. They've recycled the formulas one too many times. However, I'd point that same figure at both SOny and Microsoft as well. Each console has it's cool IPs...but at this point, I don't see anything that makes me go "I've got to have that system" over one of the others.
@thead420 Yeah, but don't tell that to the pc owners who have computers capable of graphics that put what the ps4 will do to shame. They're real committed to the lie. How dare Sony put out such a powerful system with a mid level graphic processor from 2009?
Also, on the off chance anyone from capcom happens across the comments section: This is the way forward with the Megaman franchise. No shooters. No gritty, #edgy remakes. Simple, pretty, modern platformers with a strong attention to game mechanics. Remember, it doesn't need to be an homage to the past, it needs to BUILD on the past. Do not approach it as a retro project.
WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT -pants- Okay...I think... I THink I've WANT WANT WANT....damn. ... Alright. I've got control of myself now.
What I meant to say, if you'll pardon my breach of etiquette, is that I would thoroughly enjoy a brisk romp through the fertile pastures of my youth's imagination via the merrits of the Ducktales franchise, reborn.
@slycatch @Vinomadd2012 "Different things were tried with the N64 or the Dreamcast, but the matter of fact is that the best controllers look alike the Dual Shock."
Proving my points for me, now? Thank you!
The SNES controller lives on as the prototype of modern dualshock, and to a lesser extent, XBox controllers. This isn't because they've run out of ideas. It's because it's the right shape and layout to give maximum utility to our hands. More capability means more options for game environment interaction.
@rarson Controllers are for your hands, not your eyes. It's a tactile experience not a visual one. Learn to pay attention to how your fingers feel and stop looking at your hands or you'll always be crippled and stuck with a visual crutch that grossley demeans your gaming.
