The game serves as cynical commentary on how much interactivity games have lost and what games have ultimately become.

Vatusus

Yes, but why starting to bash those games now when CoD has been doing that for years?

Sounds like hypocrisy to me

Runescape was the game that utterly blew my mind when I was 9 years old. A game where you can explore a world, interact with real people, kill everything and pick up loot.

"It is better to die for the Emperor than live for yourself."

"Question: What has the Emperor ever done for me? Answer: What have you ever done for the Emperor?"

"No world shall be beyond my rule; no enemy shall be beyond my wrath."

"An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded."

"Innocence proves nothing."

"There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt."

"Even a man who has nothing can still offer his life."

"Only in death does duty end."

"Success is measured in blood; yours or your enemy´s."
Yeah, Warhammer 40K.
Soap/Captain Price is no doubt the "biggest" character this generation dwarfing even the likes of Shepherd, Drake, Ezio.

Favourite is Solaire though, haven't ran into a character that I simply just plain loved.

Chin sounds too similar to a racial slur referring to those who identify themselves as Chinese. Replace it with pointed bottom of the head.

In terms of creativity, The Elder Scrolls series. Still disappointed about getting generic Medieval European fantasy in Oblivion than a Cyrodil that was lorewise set in a jungle and ruled over by a crazy mash-up of the Roman Empire and the Chinese Dynasties. Also more crazy stuff like CHIM would be excellent.

Skyrim is a good step towards this and a return to form though.
