Can't believe the amount of "bootstraps!" posters in here.....That is an incredibly gross oversimplification of complex social issues. lf you want to pretend that systematic oppression and glass ceilings don't limit certain races and gender's social mobility.. then go ahead and enjoy your blind ignorance. l wouldn't say they dominated much at all. But l think a similar sort of "sit on couch, oh here look at this game" at the game awards is all about Sony needed to do. That PSX was way overblown considering how little new information we got out of it.

l think Sony needs to take a lesson from Nintendo in terms on how to dole out information about their games. Sony ends up showing the same games and nothing new about them at every single event. Nintendo is very good at announcing a game and showing information later that completely changes how you think about it. How many times have we seen The Order, and No Mans Sky, yet know absolutely nothing more about them than we did when they were first announced?

And yeah play the gamecube version. Controls better. It sucks because theres no widescreen but oh well. its worth it for no waggle and proper camera control

Nintendo is set up to have one of their best years in a long time from a first party perspective. Normally we have no clue what they intend on releasing that year and we need to wait to see if they can save themselves at e3 before they eventually don't and everyone is disappointed.

Thats really not the case at all next year. They don't even have to announce anything else and they are set for the whole year. Even if not everything goes well they are releasing so much next year I don't see them disappointing too much

Sony, I think will do better than they did this year. In fact I'd say this year for sony has to be one of their worst in recent memory. So next year will be a vast improvement by default. Just release a decent game that isn't broken in someway and they'll be good.

MS needs to hope that 343 doesn't screw up again with Halo 5. A lot of their year rides on that game. If that game sucks or doesn't work for months after release the Halo franchise brand will be down the toilet. Hopefully we hear more about whats coming out during the holidays from rare or somebody else.

Anyone who is willing to buy a WiiU for 300 has one already. With the lack of third party nintendo needs to embrace the second console motif and live off of software sales until next gen. When the Xbox one is only $50 more then I can understand why people weren't running out to get one this holiday.

The gc had a massive price drop and it really helped boost sales when it became much cheaper than the competition.

Nintendo has an amazing line up next year and we still have a lot to know exactly about how it'll go down. They can have a great year if they offer a ton of unique exclusive games at a low entry price and market themselves that way.

If you are a ps4 "fan". If you love playing games on your ps4 primarily and don't do much gaming elsewhere these days, then this was a great conference. Sony showed off a lot of games you'll end up playing

However if you aren't yet "sold" on the ps4.. The conference most likely did nothing for you. They did nothing to maybe perhaps change people's perceptions of the ps4, In terms of the types of games or experiences they'll be offering that differs from the competition.

They showed very few reasons for you to go out and buy a ps4 if nothing you've seen hasn't already pulled you in

My biggest issue with Sony right now is that they seem to be operating right now like it is the 8th year of the PS3 rather than the second year of the ps4. They seem to be assuming people are already sold on it and don't have to do anything different to bring people in

Which always ran perfect. 4 player matches where a bit of a mixed bag, though I don't now if that was due more people = more chance that someone has a bad connection, or that it's a problem with the game handling higher player counts or w\e
