It is never mentioned. We only know that Solid Snake's given name is David, Big Boss' is Jack, and Solidus' is George Sears.MAILER_DAEMON

Is big boss' real name Jack? I thought that in MGS3 he said "just call me Jack" or something like that, but his real real name was John

im a big fan of RPG's... so i vote for ps1... it has the greatest rpg's, in quality & quantity (snes had some good ones too, but they were too few)

i think ffXIII & ffvXIII because ff's, as rpg's, gives more freedom and play time.... I have played almsot every ff for around 80-100 hours each one, and finished like 6 times the ones i like the most (ff7, 8, 10 and 5.... a MGS is a awesome game, and i've cried finishing them.... but i have never played one for more than 50, or finished it more than 3 times... it's about how much good time can the game give to you.... a ff last much longer in my case (i still play blitzball with ff10 often, after like 7 years... lol)

i agree, rogue galaxy is one of the best action-rpg, with kingdom hearts I & II and star ocean.... it seems to me that yuour kind of game would be star ocean... you can also try dark cloud 2

yeah start with X, and then if you like go back with the psx ones (maybe ff12 too), and then if you really become another crazy fffan (like me) go back to the nes and snes titles (the greatest but sometimes its hard to go back to 2D games)

yeah X is the easiest... i think I and V would be the ones that gave me the most hard time (I still remember how I screamed everytime i got killed) and by the time i played those games, i still didnt understand english (i was about 11), so it was kinda hard gettin through the game...lol
