Well I think North American infrastructure is to far behind to have successful cloud computing business model. In Japan, or Holland this kind of thing is a better idea then sell the consumer the high end console. It keeps costs down, and keeps data flowing which makes you the new best friend of every ISP in a modern country.
Sadly Canada an the U.S are so far behind in wide accsess high speed stable internet, this modle is a head of its time. Go Go 1st world countries right?
Spites? I actually didn't realize the game had used sprites with that budget for the game. I lost a bit of expectation there, but the game still might be good if I try it. Not too fond of sprite based Jrpgs with a few exceptions.Jakandsigz
Sprites are great when done right ala Breath of fire 3 & 4, or they fit the build like Saga frontier. They really seem out of place outside of the battle system which is fantastic btw, takes legend of legaia to a whole other level. The games story to me wasn't all that hot. When I think of a great story on PSX I think FFT, when I think of a great RPG thats long an worth the play through I think of Star Ocean, when I think of a great RPG with amazing side quests I think of Tales of Destiny 1 & 2 or FF7, and when I want something unique I think of Parasite eve. Xenogears has great things to it, none of them were very mind blowing though.
An there will be a point when you are playing through it when you will not want to keep playing. It really does start to drag.
It really isn't anything special. It's one of the few PSX RPG's I never bothered to finish and I owned it back then. They really needed more time to develop their story scenes more, the lacks of flowing animations for their sprites makes everything look to mechanicle.
Its really on the level of Suikoden 1, an well that isn't bad, its just not all that amazing either.
Super Mario 3 Super mario land Super mario 64/DS ver also/ NSMB DS are some of the best games I have ever played an will always be some of the best games I have ever played.
Soinc 2 is a great game
Sonic adventures is also a great game, maybe even a 9.5 outta 10 game.
Other then that, Sonic is long gone. Let him die please :( Stop playing the worst music ever made to him running around premade cut scenes.
5 had a pretty weak story, but if you got into its gameplay it was hard to get out. Sidequests were great, job system amazing, super bosses hard as ****.
Its music is pretty solid, not the best but it has a few amazing tracks like battle on the big bridge. There are certain events that happen that strike me harder then "other" events people blow out of proportion in more popular entries, but yeah that story pretty lame :(
So a 6.5 for lack of checkpoints and spikes in difficulty? Hmmm..... didnt GTA IV score a perfect 10? yeah.....

GtaVI had those same problems, how is this hard to see? Not to even bring up the extreme **** that is the PC port. I mean come on... Bank mission anyone? Ya I loved doing that 10 times over an over starting from the start of the mission, /vomit.
Playstation console peasants are very lucky to get a game like this for their platforms.

As an avid PC gamer, they aren't as lucky as you think : / 4 player co-op will be fun till you hit infero. Then everything will go so far down hill so fast you'd swear the game must have sucked all along an you didn't notice.
