@Talann1 @alpha_unit97 GW2 was derailed by GW fans. They overhyped it both to themselves and to every MMO related site on the net.

The fans were dissapointed cause no game could ever live up to that hype and the people that were sick of hearing about it could open up and have a field day when it started to look shaky.

Without actually knowing anything about the laws regarding this sort of thing.... the whole thing screams illegal to me.

This is an absolute deal breaker for me. No extra fees/payments/whatever for used games and Microsoft get my money.

If there is, I'm headed to Sony.

The fastest switch to f2p was DCUO at 11 months after initial launch. That and TSW are the only games to ever switch inside 1 year.

These models aren't f2p anyway, they're freemium, big difference.
