It's too bad the AI is still horrendous. Seriously, for all of the effort they put in, the AI is the absolute worst AI I have ever seen in the current decade for racing games. It's really sad. Not everyone wants to play online and frankly, when you have to level yourself up so far racing the computer I'm amazed that people don't care about it more.

Wow, this is pretty telling, actually. I never thought about the transition to e-versions of software to combat piracy, but that makes total sense. I guess that means Steam isn't going anywhere soon. Really interesting.
