[QUOTE="ULTIMATEZWARRIO"]I'd rather have an i7 processor, which one would you guys suggest?5SI-GonePostal
The i5 unless you plan on doing some heavy CPU usage stuff that you havent mentioned above
i don't do video editing (yet, I'm looking into it), but I do photo editing, and some programming. I want to leave my options open. That's quite a budget. I could put something together for much cheaper, but I'm going to choose some good quality parts for you. These main parts will be able to max any game out there with plenty of power to spare...[QUOTE="superclocked"][QUOTE="ULTIMATEZWARRIO"]hmm, I guess I could spend up to say $2000, but in terms of cost, I want to be able to play on ultra-high at 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 for the least price possible I guess. And the best monitor would be useful to know as well.blaznwiipspman1

________ $980 Besides that, you would just need a case, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers. It's all about personal preference when it comes to the these components, so you should really be the one to pick these out yourself. But I hope that this helps, enjoy :)
since you asked earlier for the cheapest components to max everything out, here is my recommendation. I just edited superclocked's urls above and inserted whats the better path to keeping money in your wallet. I changed the video card mobo and the SSD. I would also recommend gong for the i7.
how future proof is the motherboard? My inquiry is 3-folld. 1. How long does it take for them to begin going down in price? 2. Is it better to get them right when they come out? or 3. When they've been out for a few months?
oh wow I didn't even think of the fact that I would have to play wired. Yea unless motionjoy includes wireless functionality, then I might have to get a 360 controller.Yeah, I need to know too. I have Dark Souls but won't play it without a gamepad based on what I've read. But my 360 pad is wireless. Is there a certain sensor I should use and are they reliable? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a wired controller?

Hey for those of you who use a controller for some of your games, how is it it? and does it really matter if I use a 360 controller, or can I use the PS3 controller that I already own?
