Are Wiimote-specific chargers better than buying AA batteries w/ battery chargers?DaLegendKilla92
I would have to say no. I've used a wall charger with rechargable batteries for years. Most will charge four at a time and are readily available at stores like Wal-Mart and Best Buy. I'm using a compact one made by Energizer now (available at Wal-Mart) but it and the rest will charge any brand of NiMH batteries. One thing you do need to look for when buying NiMH batteries is the mAh. This determines how long the batteries can go in between charges - the higher the mAh the longer they will last and the more expensive they are. Duracell sells ones that are rated at 2650 mAh which is an extremely high rating and the highest I've found so far. But anything over 2000-2200 will last you quite a while. I don't remember the cost of the batteries or the charger but they are well worth the cost, especially if you have multiple devices that use AA or AAA and most brands will charge various sizes.
A big advantage in using rechargable is the fact that they are available anywhere so you can always pick up more when/if you need them. I keep four on charge at all times for whenever my PC mouse, Wiimote, wireless keyboard, 360 controller etc need a fresh pair.
