@joshrmeyer: He didn't get 'called out' at all, but (quite a few people) asked him to clarify whether 'having their best December ever for Xbox One' was the same as 'outselling the PS4 AND the Switch'.

The ACTUAL tweets read:

“Thank you to everyone who helped support @Xbox One this holiday, @npdgroup just reported our highest Xbox One December console share ever, looking forward to a big 2018!”

He then got asked (or rather a fanboy incorrectly STATED):

"Based on this tweet I have a feeling the number 1 selling console is either the Switch or PS4."

and the response was

“Was trying to just thank folks for supporting us and the incredible success following the launch of Xbox One X. But yes Xbox outsold PS4 in December for Gen 8 consoles according to NPD data, while Nintendo also had a great month as Switch had most overall units".

The guy states the facts, but somehow (according to the usual suspects), that makes him 'desperate' or 'a liar'...

Just because G4meSPot decided to cherry-pick the most anti-Microsoft slant on it they can to support their corporate agenda, doesn't mean that that's the whole picture.

I mean, they didn't make the headline "Playstation outsold by Xbox and Switch in December", did they?

I still don't understand how they can absolutely nail it with The Taken King, then take a step back with Rise of Iron, then take TWO steps back with Curse of Osiris.

The story missions all start off following the same, tiny path, the Infinite Forest sections try to change it up with some weird, random/procedural generation thing that either ends up making it a death zone or a 'press x to win' zone depending on which enemy type it spawns and which order it spawns the path in. In either event it's just tedious.

Started playing it on Wednesday, just finished the main quest and first adventures on my third character and I'm already halfway to the new level cap. Still yet to try Heroic Strikes though (at last, might be a reason to do them now).

Disappointing (although not entirely unexpected).

Here's the choice:

1) Take a console that plays games that are actually out, A LOT better than any other console (and even a lot of PCs)

2) Take a console that might play exclusives that may never come out, slightly better than any other console

This is why I own a One X, and why I'm seriously considering unplugging my Pro and sticking it in a cupboard to avoid it being a dust magnet.

And my One X looks CONSIDERABLY better than the Pro on my SUHD Samsung Curve TV...

@Mogan: No worries - you'll probably need a to spec out solar mods on most of (at least one set of) your gear to REALLY make it work, but for me my abilities charge up so quickly I find I barely use any heavy weapons other than a sword anymore.

@everson_rm: I'd take issue with that - I'm running those boots as well, and they're excellent but the Hallowfire Heart on the Titan is phenominal for Sunbreakers.

Pair it with a couple of mods on other gear and your 'nades barely have time to burn out before you've got the next ones
