Yep. Got one for myself just this morning. This will be the first XBox 360 I have owned. I've been delaying getting one for ages, and this deal seemed a bit too good to pass up.

About $13 for a "budget" HDMI cable off amazon.com. I think the maker was "Cables Unlimited". At any rate, after recovering from the mild coronary at seeing the retail prices for name-brand HDMI cables in stores, I opted to try this cable. Works like a dream. Could not be happier with both the substantial money I saved, and the quality of the picture I get from my PS 3. In my humble opinion, Monster Cables are a scam, probably the biggest scam, and other over-priced brand-name cables are scams as well. Which is not to say all budget cables are good choices. I initially tried one purchased at Fry's, and it was absolutely horrible. This one I got from Amazon, however, is great. My hope is that someday more and more people will catch on to the good low-priced cables, and the price-gouging which is inherent in other cables will go away.

Sorry to hear that. I think it's a goner, sorry to say. I had a bunch of my stuff stolen in a burglary about a year ago myself. XBox, Playstation 2, and most of the games for those and my Game Cube. The Cube was buried in a closet, so they didn't get that. Mostly I was pissed about the games, as I had some rarities among my collections. I'd advise investing in good carrying cases and, most importantly, hiding them when you are out and no one else is home, or better yet taking them with you. That's what I do now. I replaced the PS2 with a PS3, and I got a Wii a while back. I never leave them home alone, and the games I keep well hidden. Oh, they can be found, but a rushed burglar is unlikely to take the time to unearth them, so to speak.

Oh, and yeah, they swipe pillow cases, luggage, shopping bags and the like to carry away their ill-gotten booty. And then there's the fact that they wreck your place. Looked like a hurricane swept through things. Scum.
