It's true that developers rarely deliver on expectations set by promos. The difference between CD Projekt Red and other devs is that while neither will release games in perfect condition, CDPR will give you the enchanced edition for free, while the rest of them sell you what's missing as five separate DLC packs.
Just a few hours in, but enjoying it a lot so far. Playing it on a 6850 with a Dual Core 8400 and it runs fine. Some server lag here and there, not as smooth a ride as, say, battlefield maybe, but I mean there's just a lot more people and things. Not really having tech problems people are describing, though. Uverse internet. Anyway, you just can't beat the price tag on this bad boy.
@angeloti83 @natkoden FO3 was the dumbest Fallout ever. That water pump story was just horrible. New Vegas actually seemed like brains were involved in storytelling.
I really don't get these artistic integrity arguments citing Mass Effect 3. The developer pulled a rushed, sloppy ending that: 1) didn't make sense in the context of established game lore and 2) did not deliver on the advertised promise; out of its rear and suddenly an army of game journalists come out of the woodwork to protect the developer's "artistic integrity" and blame the gamers to demanding a change.
They messed up, OK? The rules of sacred art do not apply here.
In about ten years, Internet is going to be one-way, like TV. Webcams will automatically blur out everything inappropriate. There won't be any keyboards. To send messages to each other, we will choose from about two dozen conveniently-formulated macros.
Daamn, C&C made by Bioware with BF3's engine. That just sounds like something you'd come up with if they asked you what's never going to happen but should.
