@SythisTaru LOL complex ? why because of the story ? Yeah that great what about the rest of game? ya funny how you cling to DA2 strongest aspect yet fail to mention the rest. If DA2 is what you consider the depth of the gaming industry where even the reviews say it a ok game....well the gaming industry is really bad shape.
@SythisTaru He meant Dark souls which is true you won't get the nice cut scenes like you do Dragon age. It more like you have to pick up the pieces from the conversation and things you read along the way to get your story, and I for one don't mind that.
@RavenXavier LOL yeah that the same thing I said or you could just make specific armor for your companions or a little of A and B. If you want you can pick apart his "reason" without a sweat but that be to easy lol.
@texasgoldrush handling stats sucks FOR YOU but not for me , Dark souls may not a initial story a la dragon age but there one , plus still fills the other parts better than DA2. W/e if you like all your bioware games to be the same go ahead play them , I in the other hand like to try different kinds of games. Enjoy Dragon Mass 3 ....
@texasgoldrush Mass effect was never meant to be a true Rpg. it meant to be more of a hybrid like Deus Ex. Dragon age was meant to be a true RPG, if that was not the case there was no reason to make the first one like it was. They could just have made it straight like Mass effect 2. What happen was EA/bioware saw $$$$ Mass effect 2 made and the rest is history. No problems still have Elder Scrolls 5 and Dark Souls to fill that gap.
@SythisTaru Not bashing Baldur gate I am bashing DA2. Texas said that DA:O does not come close to Baldur gate ,so what there to say about DA2 which is not even better that Origins?
@texasgoldrush Heavy on stats , skills , party management , story and fun and strategic combat, not in that order. DA:O got all those right but combat was a little bit on the boring side I admit that, but part two took every thing and dumb it down for no reason(which even Kevin agrees with). Case in point is DA:O is Kenshiro ,DA2 is a keebler elf nuff said -_-.
@texasgoldrush funny you should say that , since Dragon age is just becoming Mass effect , you know more of the same lol. W/e thank god for Elder Scrolls 5 and dark souls we will still have some real RPG's this year.
