It used to be PS3 fans saying this but they knew what games were coming; KZ2, God of War 3, MGS 4, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, Infamous, MAG, DC Universe Online, Uncharted 2, Gran Tourismo 5and on and on. Now it's 360 fans to say "just wait" but they can't name the great xclusives to wait for.They're aren't any announced.

Umm, welcome to 4 months ago? Although if all wheels are turning smoothly, Gears can be really fun and intense, you just have to hope all the stars align.

Is it just me, or does RE5 have less "fluff"? It has less blur, less bloom effects, basically less "filters" or something (really not one for the technical terms). RE5 just has great textures and models, and it puts that out as is. Killzone 2 looks all gooey and hazy and blurry, in a good way if that makes sense. It just makes it hard to compare the two, and it really comes down to if you personally like all the "filters" that Killzone uses. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong btw, this is all from gameplay videos.

Well, its not like Sony would confirm, but they could've stayed mum on the issue and just wait a couple months. But perhaps the sales they were losing from the alleged price cut was too steep, so they had to lie and say there was none coming. Then there's the fact that they're just now turning a profit, or the fact that every analyst and their mom is saying to expect one in April... Ahh, its just too complicated!!!:cry:

I haven't played either, (really want both...) but I just think that its impressive that a multiplatform game is even bringing reasonable debates on Killzone's graphics. I guess the "super-dooper grafix lol" the PS3 has over the 360 once again narrows. I still believe that this gen, the 360 and PS3 will remain close in graphics, we'll see if I'm right.

Congragulations to my favorite console of all time! PS2 is the pinnacle of gaming, no doubt about that.

Well the problem I see, in North America at least (all I can really judge) is that the 360 has become synonymous with gaming this generation. Microsoft got their good games out fast and in good time, so now every 18-27 year old male and their dog has a 360. 360 has earned a place in pop-culture (much different than the Wii btw) and continues to be the "PS2" of this gen. So even though the PS3 may have better games (arguable) and a price cut, it still has to fight the name recognition that the 360 now has. Is it unfair? Perhaps. But I think that the PS3 cannot top the pop-culture popularity of the 360 this gen.
