or, be like me. if you hire someone and get the tutorial popup for the plague, immediately go to the main menu without saving. You will start back in before entering the rift, and can look for another pawn. I also send a message to the pawns owner before quitting out and warn them that their pawn has the plague.
another tip, if you see a ladder that needs to be dropped, and your archer pawn (if you arent an archer yourself) doesnt want to hit the damn thing, you can pick them up and throw them to the ladder, they will kick it down automatically in order to rejoin you. I was following the main storyline and was being escorted to vermund when i encountered a ladder on a side path that was stubborn.
@Barighm: ive gotten to collectibles sooner by using the terrain to my advantage. Im neurotic about collecting everything i can as soon as i can which is how i discovered in certain places that require a certain character upgrade, you can get around some of them with a different character upgrade that you get sooner than the one they intended to be how you get to the areas.
Never encountered a story skip though, though i was actively avoiding progressing the story in favor of collectible hunting and side-questing.
@xnshd: samsungs arent always good. Some of their larger TV's have a capacitor issue where it makes a clicking noise constantly, sometimes very loudly. I use a TCL P607 since i got the X1X and i love it. Im looking to upgrade, hopefully to a LG, I would consider samsung if i like what reviews say. Im waiting for a decent affordable panel comes out.
