Lets go ahead and punish people for wanting to play games. Like buying a used car and then realizing that you cant drive it. This news makes me cringe and play the retro consoles more.
It is very sad news to hear this. And more than likely, the other regions will more than likely follow suit. The ps2 has lasted 12 years. That is very impressive and says alot about the system, It is a gem and one that in my opinion wont be duplicated by another console with the same success.
Thanks for giving us a system like the PS2 and the games that were on it.
It is up to the parents to teach and "parent" their children when it comes to what movies they watch and what games they play. I started when I was 5 years old and didn't shoot anyone, I know the difference between games and reality. Some people can't distinguish between the two, and you get situations like this.
I see them wanting to curb violence in their community, but the parents need to educate themselves about ratings and what content games and movies, etc have before pointing fingers. We all have the right to choose, and to be free. To make decisions as we see fit. You can't penalize the masses for a few's mistakes.
IMO as with most other people say almost all of these are identical now. Dragon age is the big difference of the games listed here. I played both systems and have to say that the ps3 does look better. Both the 360 and ps3 are good systems, it just took longer for the PS3 to get to where it is. All in all it is not as lopsided graphics wise as it used to be.
