@iampenguin @zinten Someone with a CTA pic is not someone who would play a lego game. No offence. Never underestimate the buying power of children.

Plus... the games are additively fun.

@Diegoctba @bluefox755 The two liking your comment don't honestly think he's serious? How would they even make an apple into an orange? Think before you get trolled. A message from concerned children's advertisers.

@shuffelman117 That's poetic, unless you mean excited.

@matthova Your exemplifying the problem that Aonoma is speaking to I think. As a kid, OOT hands down. Nowadays that I'm an adult? TP actually turned into my favourite. Not for story, for imagery and the fact that it was more in-line with the age of a long time Zelda fan in terms of maturity. Oh and they nailed Hyrule Field for me, its important.

The problem is that Aonoma might actually have some really, really good game ideas mechanic wise from his experience, but if he changes it, Nintendo with get scolded by fans that seek the comfort of "another Zelda game". Not that it matters to me at this point, Nintendo is like a fondly remembered but crazy ex.

My beloved childhood moments with Nintendo are, today, just that.

With the reviews of the new Pokemon games coming out, I just realized that Nintendo is the only company that hasn't matured with me. All I wanted years ago was a 3d console version of the Pokemon games (those who know what I'm talking about probably wanted the same). At this point, reading stuff like this, hearing how they communicate now with the western markets, I'm just moving on. Nintendo has been asked numerous times for one good idea or the other, but they literally just laugh and say "Print that I laughed". Might as well be saying "we would love to make a more in depth Pokemon game, we're just not running out of money yet". They are, however, close to losing money at this point I think.

TL;DR My bitter-sweet resignation as a Nintendo supporter. I am going to follow Reggie Fils-Aims (I think that's how you spell it) shenanigans though, that guy's great.

@racerxgundam Your comment is not better than a Wii U. Only slightly less fun for the price, but still not greater than.

@Poodger The "PC elitists" are usually PC gamers that started out a year or three ago. The now-adults that started out more than 13 years ago know enough to not act like idiots to people for no good reason. Being adults.

Console is great fun, and almost the same experience at this point. PC games will always be technically better because we get more hardware upgrades after the fixed console releases. It's not elitism, it's just fact. Expensive fact.

@OMGMrTea I would argue that Assasins creed doesn't take very much time. There is too much really good change in the industry right now, Gaben has the patience to see the product to a time where more innovation might be needed.

@BlackBaldwin @Vozlov @dkdk999 I don't care what you put beside that game. No game deserves to be compared to whatever DNF was.

@telaros It definitely does actually. Play Portal and Portal 2 more slowly, look around. It's culminating to a merger of the both worlds, working in competition to produce the same dangerous technology.

Chell wakes up in Portal 2 after a very long hibernation. Portal 1 I think you see mention of Black Mesa as a competitor. This leaves enough time for the events of HL1 to take place near or after the end of Portal. Which also leaves plenty of time for a combine invasion. The very same that you fight in HL2.
