I thought people were more angry because it's Facebook. They don't have the best reputation and aren't a game company or a hardware company and now that they control Oculus people are angry because they don't like what they think Facebook is going to do with it.

Palmer can promise there aren't going to be any changes all he wants but the reality is it's not his company anymore and if Facebook decides to change it he won't be able to stop it from happening.

"A little bit wrong" is quite the understatement. If all of this is "a little bit wrong", what does it take to be a huge screw up?

Next time have someone who's taken at least one class in user-interface design do your site. That probably would help.

My favorite new feature is the incredibly long load times.

the stacks is not my collection. It has games in that weren't in my collection, missing games that were, I can't sort it in any sort of meaningful way but yeah the craptacular stack is technically supposed to be my collection. A cheap bastardized version of it.

This new and "improved" site feels like it's trying to hard. Emblems are missing. Away went my nice collections list. It's incredibly slow. I'll give then a while to work out some of the issues then it's time to say so long.

Microsoft's own people have been contradicting each other way too often. Who's to say what's really going on or planned. Do they even know? they haven't been acting like it since they first started talking about the system.

Ignore our marketing department. We have no idea what he's talking about. Honest.

So they're finally admitting the camera is to spy on me. Watching me, listening to what I say, and I've got to say "how my body responds" that's just plain creepy as hell.

I'm pretty sure someone from Microsoft previously said that it was designed with advertising in mind. And Microsoft has had meetings with advertisers pushing all the great data that the Kinect could get for them about how people react to shows, movies, and games both facial and verbally.

So....are they lying or is it just something they're working on for the future?

I wish Microsoft would spend more time showing me how great Kinect is instead of telling me "Trust us it's great. Buy it and you'll see." I'd like to see more of it before I hand over my money. I was very underwhelmed with the last Kinect and that about convinced me that I have no interest in it for gaming. So if this version is truly something new and great that I'm really going to want then I want them to SHOW ME.

Prove it to me. They need to stop telling gamers to just take their word for it.
