Hi, the demos for Aliens vs. Predator 2 are not downloadable. It just comes up as "File not found." on a white screen when attempting to download. I guess GS will do what they see fit to fix this. I would like to try the demos for AvP 2, so hopefully you guys get them up and running soon. I use a brwoser that doesn't allow copy and paste in this scenario, so that's why there's no link. Hopefully this somes across as clear. "File not found." is a fairly blunt message, so I'm not really sure how I can be more clear.

If it's a DVD that you've never tried on the PS3 before then it could just be the DVD (I have some CD's that sound really weird when played on my PS3, but they're CD's, not DVD's.)

I'm a bit skeptical about it just because IO is trying to broaden the audience by lessening the stealth gameplay and that can be quite a gamble in it's own right. I'm also worried that they'll focus too much on Glacier 2.0 and the gameplay, design, etc. will suffer in general. Hopefully they'll put a demo out.

Same thing happened to me last week. While taking the elevator I was jumping and suddenly went straight through. Fortunately I just loaded my save.

So I recently got my hands on an old PC but there's a catch with it, no hard drive... I know it uses IDE so I figure I'd just go with EIDE because it's better. But I recently heard from a reliable source that EIDE might not work on an old computer with IDE. Is there any way to tell whether EIDE will work?

I got a 1080i TV for $25 but it doesn't have HDMI. When I upgrade my receiver I want to shoot for 7.1, something only HDMI can do.

Is it possible to have HDMI from a PS3 (slim in this case) run the sound for a game and have the video running from component?

Well that's a relief. I thought my data got corrupted or something.

So I'm playing Bad Company 2 and finish a match then back out to the main menu so I can tend to something in the real world. I come back to play some more and when the map loads all of my progress is gone. Every unlock is just gone. Any idea what on earth just happened? It figures this would happen right after I finish unlocking all the guns in the engineer class...
