This puzzle stumped me for a good while, and when I revisited the location I accidentally discovered the solution.
Top Floor = I made a battery and put it in the fire alarm Middle Floor = use wings to fly up and activate the alarm Bottom Floor = same as middle floor, if not try putting a battery in it first
Edit: That's a really creative way to do it Sir!

Nyko is working on a battery extender for the gamepad according to this article: http://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2012/11/30/nintendo-wii-u-gamepad-gets-10-hour-battery-boost-via-nykos-uboost-attachment/ It may be worth taking a look at when it's released.

Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Windwaker, Pikmin, Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. I would love Dark Legacy for the nostalgia! Me, my brother, and our 2 best friends played this games for countless hours over the weekends and even had sleep overs dedicated entirely to beating the game. However, Midway is sunk so Nintendo would have to get the rights from Warner Bros. as I believe they currently hold the IP rights. Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion would be no-brainer titles for the VC. IMHO it would draw tons of sales if they were among the "launch titles" for the Wii U VC. Oh yeah, and don't forget Mario Golf!

This article is way back from August: http://wiiudaily.com/2012/08/the-last-story-developer-thinks-wii-u-is-great-for-jrpgs/ It sure looks like we might have a Last Story sequel, spiritual successor, or at the very least a new Mistwalker game on the Wii U at some point. I would love to see some JRPGs make their way onto the Wii U in NA soon!
