Even though FF7 is my favourite game of all time i have to say Link would be the winner. He has more expirience when it comes to fighting a variety of creatures and has many weaopons,magic and items to help him along with his wit,cunning and ability to outsmart enemies. I think link could beat Cloud in a 1 on 1 sword battle so his biggest worry would be the summons. And lets face it he has defeated tougher creatures during his many adventures.
