Yeah I always got the impression that the only reason Sony didn't implement the DRM like Microsoft did was so they could see how people reacted to that kind of system. The guys over at Sony Pictures are currently trying to convince other DVD manufacturers to go ahead and place DRM into the new DVD/Blu-Ray players so it's not like nobody at Sony is trying to push for DRM. To be honest I'm not buying any of the next-gen consoles, games in the UK are getting a £20 price hike and I can't think of a reason to get any of the new systems. (Look it up online, most UK Online retailers are selling games at £55 so looks like Robert Kotick finally got his way, the games industry is charging over £55 and nobody cares enough to complain)

So has Epic Games ever considered making a third party game? I mean I recall back when the PS3 first came out that Epic Games regretted going into an exclusivity deal with Microsoft so what happens if the Xbox One turns out to be really good and Epic Games want to put this new IP onto both systems. Surely if anything past experience should have taught Epic Games that the exclusivity deals are only beneficial to the console manufacturers.
