Every time I write Lil' B off, I hear some song like this that completely changes my view of him. He's definitely got some songs worth listening to, just a lot that aren't.

Does anyone else have any suggestions because in a little over one week of action the following have been suggested:

It'd be great if someone that was familiar with the South (especially the Big Tymers because I liked them a lot but don't remember the song titles) and the West would contribute because I'm not too familiar with those regions and are likely hiding most of the gems I have forgotten about.

But by all means if you've got songs from other regions, post them. I've realized that there are loads of songs that have I really liked at the time, but that have not made it into my collection. 

 Actually scratch that, just post anything from this time period. It was so righteous.

I stumbled across Diplomatic Immunity Vol. 1 on my external HDD and it reminded me of how great this time period was for rap. Dipset was a their peak, Roc-a-Fella was at their peak and mainstream rap was just better. What were some of your favorite songs from the earlier half of the decade?
