To answer your question; Couth voted for himself in one category. We have not yet started counting the votes and have not been patrolling every nomination and every category for potential rule breaking. If you've broken a rule your vote just won't be counted when we come to count them up. I had not seen Couth vote for himself. Even if i had, i wouldn't have made a big deal of it. I'd have just not counted it, which i'm sure he knows because he doesn't take this seriously anyway (which is the right attitude...). There's a difference between not taking something seriously however and basically make a complete joke out of it. I don't think voting for yourself in one category is 'way more extreme' than voting the same user in every single category, even in categories where the award doesn't even go to a user. And like i've also said, every single other poster has been able to vote without a problem using common sense. If you would like specific rules to stop every kind of potentially abusive behavior, i'm afraid that isn't really going to happen as this is a fun thing we do once a year and we don't want to bog it down with a big list of rules. For that reason, we leave it up to peoples own common sense to do the right thing and adhere to the general spirit of things, which everyone has managed to do so far. Hope that clears everything up. I understand what your saying :). Common sense told me that I could vote for anyone I wanted to as long as it wasn't against the rules. Remember this is the first time i participated in this thing. I had fun voting and I respect the whole thing... I look forward to voting next year :).
