@gaeandilth: It's plenty long enough for me, and it has plenty to do. I hate how too many games take 100s of hours to fully complete, and how everything these days insists on being open world, so GoW 2018's much more concise exploration and time frame was much appreciated.
@sebb: This game has significantly fewer button/combo combinations than games like DMC, and about 10 times less than in, say, fighting games, like Tekken. It's not even remotely difficult to "memorize", what are you talking about? And it's anything but boring.
@moistcarrot: @moistcarrot: Everything about 2018 is way better than the old games, including the combat. I've played every game in the series, and was never overly impressed with the old ones, but was mindblown by how awesome 2018 is. Story, dialogue, world building, exploration, graphics, all of it fantastic, and MILES better than before.
@guttenor: The exploration is as far from mindless as it gets, and the excellent dialogue that actually makes you feel like you're in the game's world; drives forward the narrative; and develops the world building, is one of the game's best features, and some of the best I have ever seen in a game. No idea what you're talking about.
As far as I'm concerned, the Star Wars story ended with episode 6. Luke saved the galaxy, and him, Leia, and Han are all still alive, the Sith are gone and defeated for good, and all is well. Happy and satisfying ending. THE END. For good.
The Disney sequels all those years later were not only completely unnecessary and should never have happened in the first place, they were also horrible abominations. Not only did they kill off almost every character we ever loved and write a giant mess of a story, they also deconstructed and ruined everything that was established in the prior movies; they ruined Luke's character, Yoda's character, how the force works, everything. On top of that, they continue to litter anything they make with their woke agenda nonsense. And for what? Who on earth would want that kind of garbage? Nobody asked for that. But as usual, the greed for money is all they care about, not the fans.
Disney were great in the 90's and earlier, but now I hate them and everything they do, as they've ruined Star Wars, Marvel, AND their own films (those god awful live action remakes. The new version of Lady and the Tramp is one of the worst insults of a movie I've ever watched). Same with Amazon. I wish as many people as possible would resist the urge, and just say no to anything Star Wars that Disney has touched, so they would be forced to keep their grubby paws off or go bankrupt, but alas, that will never happen I guess...
@mogan: The jedi, the sith, lightsabers and the force, are the only reasons Star Wars has ever been interesting to me. Remove them, and it'll be boring as hell to me. I don't watch it for the laser blasters and space battles.
