How are people complaining about Valve pressing charges? This isn't like he was making a fan game and they shut him down, he literally burgled their offices and stole stuff.
@Barighm: I think getting publicity on the largest platform available only to pull it last minute and switch is pretty shady. I get they want a larger cut, but the manner in which several of these companies have done this is a tad disgraceful.
I agree. While I understand it's one of MS's mainline series, I kinda wish they'd ended the MC saga and moved onto something else allowing 343 to make something that stands on its own. I feel that they've kinda run the series into the ground and are now fighting an uphill battle trying to regain the series' past glory.
It's funny, for all their pushing to get me to pre-order and buying at launch, their general attitude and recent poor releases have actually swayed me in the opposite direction. While I won't boycott a publisher outright, I do wait to see reviews and whether it releases with a full story and complete content when it comes to these publishers. Between burnt on Battlefront, Destiny, and constantly seeing all their terrible antics in the news, I'm actually way more cautious when it comes to EA and Activision.
So, what should they do Leslie? Being jaded doesn't help the fact that critically the 2016 film wasn't well received nor was it financially successful. But of course, they should just give you and your team more money to try again. Why don't you throw up your own money to finance your own sequel?
I’m going to guess, based on the conformity aspect of the image and the handles appearing as two faces merging as one into the scissors’ blades, that the twist will probably be something like the parents trying to convert the kids into a cult or strangers trying to convert the family into a cult. I’m leaning toward the parents trying to convert the kids, but I could be wrong.
There are tons of people complaining and for some reason the major gaming news outlets haven't seemed to pick it up yet... quite strange really...
Honestly though, here are my reasons for not subscribing to this ridiculous service:
Only one account is able to go online on a single switch unless you purchase the family plan (making it "just" $35 for most families... $25 bucks less than what Live/Psn+ charge)

Access to buy other peripherals that only work with the service (i.e. once your subscription is up they become absolutely useless)
No way to back up our saves externally forcing us to...
