People play the game, they way they want to play it. If they choose to have 1 really strong Pokemon for the entirety of the game, that's their business. If that's how they have fun, then that's how they have fun. If you choose to play the game a certain way and it makes the game harder for you, either you change your strategy or you push through it. Don't expect the game to change for you.Sepewrath
This. And the people saying that he is playing it wrong or saying that "real pokemon players" play a certain way are just narrow-minded.

This game is designed so you can play it however you want; you are not playing it wrong. On the same note, you have to realize that the way you choose to play it affects the timeline as far as when you can beat the Elite 4 and complete other tasks. At this point in your game, you are probably better off focusing on a few pokemon that will get you past the Elite four and then go back to the style of playing you like after you've beat them.

I doubt anything will happen. I have put games in my 3DS that were fake and nothing happened. I didn't know know they were fake at the time. My 3DS still works fine.

I just turned 28, just got married, in graduate school, and I still play pokemon fairly regularly. The only people that think they are too old to play Pokemon are too immature to realize that you are never too old for anything.

If you do a 3DS to 3DS transfer, EVERYTHING transfers and is deleted off the original 3DS.

You have to transfer the data using the option in the settings app.

It isn't an issue that needs to be fixed. At certain times, the eshop needs to complete actions such as downloading data or connecting to the server. Pressing the home button would interrupt this so it prevents you from using that function for a few seconds and when on certain screens. Just be patient and backtrack out of menus if nothing else is going on and it still won't let you go to the home screen.

I don't think it works between games from different regions.

[QUOTE="TankZorz"][QUOTE="Spinnerweb"]Type your IP address into your browser's bar where you write the URL. Change the security from WEP to WPA-PSK in Settings and then choose a password. Type the same password into your DS and you'll connect. Sadly you'll have to do the same for your 3DS.Spinnerweb
DO NOT DO THIS. DS games DO NOT WORK with WPA.

They work perfectly for me. Have you checked?

Yes, I have. 3DS and DSi enhanced games work with WPA but the rest of the DS games do not.

[QUOTE="Remmy8199"][QUOTE="TankZorz"]You need to double check all the settings. Maybe you should get one of your parents to help you.

I've checked several times. I know the WEP is right, it's just not working for some reason. And I have my own place btw. Not all gamers are kids.

I'm well aware that not all gamers are kids. I'll be 28 soon and there are plenty of older people that frequent this site. I assumed that since you were not familiar with the router that you hadn't set it up and that your parents had done it for you. I was wrong. Sorry about that. If it isn't the WEP then it's probably the IP address. You may have to assign one to your DS.
