I generally agree with what you're saying, but I disagree with the idea that women are attracted to the same qualities from when we ran around with sticks and in caves :P.

Interesting. I always prefer reading Forbes' lists on the most powerful people compared to Time's lists of most influential.

What kind of bear?

This is important. If its anything short of a Kodiak or Polar Bear my money would definitely be on the Silverback Gorilla.

This really is sad. It seems the more educated and talented your are the less appreciated you are.

That's just not true.

A man can only dream of earning that much money for so little "work."

I mean it's whatever. Honestly I'm more impressed than anything else. I'm friends with a kid (who's a guy btw OP) who just finished his freshman year of college and makes $60/hr just doing some web work for the Department of Defense.

Funny how all of you people see a tragedy and the only thing you want to do is judge lifestyle, upbringing, and his parents. Can we not just focus on how awful the whole event was for everyone involved? Instead you try to act holier-than-thou as if the reason he went and murdered people is because his parents let him have a BMW? C'mon, what his parents did has nothing to do with these events. He was a troubled youth who felt alienated from the world. His parents had even sent him to a therapist and contacted the police.

Everyone wants to play arm-chair analyst and blame this on sexism, privilege, narcissism, society etc. The truth is, some horrific acts really can't be fully explained.

EDIT: Also there was already a thread on this.

ie: lets not look at the causes of this and just say to ourselves "it cant be explained"

I'm not an expert on matters like these and I did not personally know the kid, and neither did those on forums, message-boards, or in the media (even though we all think we did because we saw what he CHOSE to leave behind). I just think that we have this need to look at everything and tie it up in a neat little bow that also fits our own personal beliefs and agendas, and the truth is, things don't really work like that. I admit that I can't really explain or understand all of the elements in this event, and I think a lot more people would be a lot better off if they also admitted that they are really just full of speculation, and are in reality just using this tragedy as a podium from which to publicize their own rhetoric.

I mean considering it's acting in a mainstream movie...the sexual orientation of a character that an actor plays has no bearing on their own sexuality. If you're questioning anything about Radcliffe's sexuality all it really means is that he's a damn good actor, or that you're just being stupid.

He chose to be naked with and in very close proximity to another naked male, while simulating sexual acts. He's gay. There's no coming back from that.

So is it the simulating sex acts or the being naked that makes him gay? Because you realize simulating means its not actually happening right?
