@nyran125tk: I got really frustrated with that as well, especially just trying to find ships. Then I realised that you don't even need to use signal scanners, I just flew around looking for crashed ships and found them much easier and quicker after I figured out what to look for. Same for monoliths and other structures, once you know what each kind of structure looks like, just flying around looking for them is much easier.

This game is a cash grab by Keen Games, Ascaron developed the first 2 Sacreds. Keen Games' website also has ZERO information on Sacred 3 which is their biggest release for their studio, that alone tells you all you need to know. http://www.keengames.com/

I have been around GS since when it was Videogames.com, and I too have seen a sharp increase in "e-bullying", I quite liken this to spoiled brats; kids who's parents didn't provide acceptable boundaries or consequences for inappropriate behavior. Now, these internet spoiled brats (trolls), who may or may not be spoiled brats in real life have been allowed free course without consequence and have become internet spoiled brats.

Doing nothing is not the answer, these spoiled internet brats won't learn that their behavior is inappropriate without someone telling them it's inappropriate and providing consequences. It's only going to get worse, so why not try and make it better? It won't make the internet a safe place, but if it can make GameSpot a slightly more mature community, then why not? That may be all GS can do, but it's a start.

Anonymity may be part of the problem, but removing that won't fix it, simply because anonymity still exists for those viewing your comments. How do I know who read my comment and now knows my full name? Do I get a list of thousands of users who came onto this board?

I welcome all thoughtful responses.

@maitkarro But they can provide the experience of getting backlash from the community and/or GS for their inappropriate behavior. Experience leads to wisdom... eventually...

64-bit is great and all, but what use is that now? Just like when 64-bit desktop processors were introduced there was nothing useful to really take advantage of it until several years later. And I honestly don't see anything special with IB3, just a lot of smoke and mirrors. Though I think it's a great phone if you want to upgrade your camera, I like how Apple is moving towards bigger pixels, I love my HTC One for that.

Curious, have anyone actually taken a look at the statistics of % of piracy vs. potential income if piracy was 100% avoided, and compared that monetary value to the proposed solution of manpower + hardware + bandwidth + maintenance + possible brand damage if things fail... is it even worth it?

@brokenapples I really don't want to have to take out my gun every night to charge it. What if I forget to charge it and when I need it, it won't work because the battery is dead? lame...

Wow, another example of a publisher failing to really take hold of new and exciting control possibilities on the Wii U. Using the TV and the Tablet as splitting the screen? Nice... what's to ensure that the tablet user doesn't screen-look at his opponent on the TV? "Incredible graphics" of 2006 game consoles, and yet it still doesnt look as good as X360 / PS3 counterparts, how'd they manage that? And why the hell don't we utilize the tablet as a sights/scope and use the gyroscope for aiming? Seriously dropped the ball on that one...

@northArrow Anet has been saying it (and doing it) since 2005 with Guild Wars 1.

@TimmyDigital - I totally agree, that was part of my point. What I was trying to get at was people who buy massive Alienware Gaming PC's just to play games and surf the internet (not to do the thousands of other things that a pc can do), then it's a waste of money IMO. A PC like that can easily also be a sound/music mixer, or a 3D Graphics rendering station, or HD video editing, or doing homework, and the myriad of other things to do and learn. PC's aren't a one-trick pony :)
