Too bad most of it was originally scheduled for 2008 release... delays are killing Sony.
[QUOTE="johnnyv2003"]meh, don't trust Gamespot when it comes to RPGs...considering they gave Lost Odyseey, the best RPG of this generation a 7.5 yet Eternal Sonata got a 8.5 ...with Lost Odyssey at a 7.5 they were basically saying that it was only .4 points better than Enchanted Arms....one of the most craptastic RPGs i've ever played. Hopefully TOV will be a good game, but i'm going to wait until it gets down to about $29.99. Luckily Infinite Undiscovery comes out friday, can't waitsammyjenkis898
I thought Eternal Sonata was a lot better then Lost Odyssey. Besides Gamespot isn't the only company that game this game a great review.
:)
Seconded, Lost Odyssey was a great game but took soooooo loooooong to get started it felt like a chore, Eternal Sonata was much easier to get into, and the combat system was fun.
Personally... the video game market grew up a little, with the PlayStation there were many more games aimed at adults, stuff like Resident Evil ans Silent Hill, yet when Nintendo moved onto the Gamecube they kept producing the same, overly colourful, platform dross that they always did.
Having seen what games could be like they realised that the Gamecube wasn't going to give them what they wanted so they got PS2's, only too late did Nintendo spot the mistake and tried to win back hardcore gamers with Resi 4 and the remake of Resi 1.
Too late, didn't work, gamers grew up and wanted more from their new machine, and the Gamecube failed to deliver.
Ypu'll get the loyal followers of MArio and Metroid but there's precious little else for anyone over the age of 18 to be bothered with, what would you rather have, a great game and story like MGS4 or GTA4 or a collection of 30 second minigames that all look the same?
Nintendo failed to move on after the N64 and they've lost consumers because of it, half the people buying a Wii wouldn't know a decent game if it slapped them in the face.
Side note, some achivments are glitched.Simsfreak14

You also have to learn all the abilities granted from wearing items and accessories, same for the other immortals, and some of the accessories are hard to get hold of... The White Charm for a start.

have never seen a group of gamers wait so long for quality games as I have seen this gen with cows. It's getting kind of silly now.

The thing that differentiates Alan Wake from stuff like KZ2 and GT5 is that we don't keep being shown new screens of Alan Wake every other week to remind us that its been delayed again.
Its as if the developers of KZ2 think that everyone will forget about it if we aren't kept topped up with new pictures... totally unecessary.
Hardly a reliable source, PS3fanboy website?
And Kaz is hardly going to stand and say "Its bombing big time" is he.
